Hi!
Hello to my new Japanese friend following me on Twitter! That is auspicious, indeed!
HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY today to my Mom and Dad! Since nobody posted yet their Disco Disco Zohan video, it’s not too late. : )
<<EDITOR’S REVISION: It’s their 41st anniversary. Oops, wrong year. I talked to them and all is well.>>
Updates on my getting Bethitized. (Yeh, I would pay me for this.)
Tennis journey – asked my roommates if they have a racket I can borrow. MM, can I get you to defect a little from Ultimate and play tennis with me since we are in the same ‘hood now?
Style journey – I’m actually starting to notice how people are dressed and having fun with it. Also read Style article in Wall Street Journal yesterday. Hi-5 and FriendWife, desert camo is IN! I can dress like an army girl and be up to date!! Oh, and I’m wearing a dress and a belt today. Woooooh! Girly!
Hiking this Saturday – I emailed a former roommate who is a barefoot hiker to get good places to go. Iheartbarefoothiking.
Sales and persuasion – Had a major breakthrough with getting something comp’ed for a client today. Shook like a leaf and it was totally worth it.
I have a new office meeting idea for financial counseling clients.
I’m unofficially adopting a 9 year old girl as one of her loving guardians. (She doesn’t know it. I’ll just do it.)
Moved from Step 10 to 11 in OA, which is awesome. Step 11 is studying prayer and meditation. Sweet! This is like the dessert step for me.
It really can be the thinnest line between depression and activation sometimes.
Now, here’s a fun game. I don’t get to write to you again until I’ve finished a Top Secret project. Shhhhh! And wish me well.
You, my friends, are the dessert of my daily life.
